DANCING IN THE RAIN
Words & Music: Tom Radd
Problems may come
Problems they go
Don’t let it get you down
Turn on the radio
Tune to the station playing your favorite song
Then step outside ‘cause it won’t be long
DANCING IN THE RAIN
ON A SUMMER DAY
WITH THE SUN BURSTING THROUGH THE CLOUDS
IT’S TIME TO PLAY
A LITTLE OLD RAIN IN THE WARM SUMMER BREEZE
FEELS REAL GOOD
JUST ASK THE FLOWERS AND THE TREES
DANCING IN THE RAIN
Sometimes you cry
And that’s too bad
When tears fall like raindrops
I know you’re feeling sad
And just when you think that you can never win
That’s when you start feeling better again
CHORUS
Let the rain pour down
Like a drum sound
Hear your feet go splish, splish, splash
Like a cymbal crash
The sound of music is always there
Between the rain and the radio, it’s everywhere
CHORUS
Let’s dance!!!
CHORUS

Tom Radd's thoughts on the song Dancing In The Rain
“With the end of summer fast approaching, and after reading “How You Can Dodge The End-of-Summer Blues” by Wendy Dolber for newjerseynewsroom. com, I felt an urge to write an end of summer dance song that teaches the listener that they can have a good time no matter the weather. In other words, it’s a modern day re-write of the Gene Kelly classic, “Singin’ In The Rain.”
